The Land I grew up on

Honoring the Land

It is a deep honor to host this gathering on the land where I grew up—a place my mother also called home. Willamina, Oregon, is located on the ancestral and traditional homelands of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon.

The Grand Ronde community represents more than 27 tribes and bands from western Oregon, southwest Washington, and northern California, including the local Yamhill (Yamel) band of the Kalapuya people, as well as the Molalla, Umpqua, Rogue River, and Chasta peoples.

As we gather, rest, create, and connect with one another and with the natural world, I invite us to hold gratitude and respect for the people who have cared for and belonged to this land since time immemorial. May our time here be rooted in reverence, reciprocity, and a deep appreciation for the land and its enduring stories.

Kids Zone

This playhouse is pure magic! Children will have access to the Kids Zone throughout the weekend, along with a few special scheduled activities created just for them.

I grew up on this land, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been rooted in nature from such a young age. It brings me so much joy to share this magical place with others and create space for children to experience the wonder, freedom, and imagination that nature inspires.

I hope the little ones leave with muddy feet, happy hearts, wild imaginations, and magical memories of their time spent playing in nature.

Poolside Magic

A backyard scene with a swimming pool in the foreground, a red wooden patio with potted plants and chairs, and hanging paper lanterns in yellow, green, and red. There are decorative masks on the patio wall and a stone bench with a small plant. A sign in the window reads 'I saw that.'

I encourage you to frolic, play, and reconnect with your inner child—no matter your age. There is something so freeing about being in the water, feeling at home in our bodies, soaking up the sunshine, or simply floating beneath a starlit sky.

The pool area will be clothing optional, offering a space to relax, be comfortable, and connect with yourself and nature in whatever way feels right for you. Whether you're sunbathing, splashing, swimming, or stargazing, the pool is available to you 24/7.

Please swim safely: There is no lifeguard on duty, and children must be supervised at all times. Never leave children unattended around the pool.

Come play, float, laugh, and remember what it feels like to simply be free.

Sauna

The Sauna is a place to quiet the mind, and settle into a slower rhythm. A silent space for ages 16+.

Throughout the retreat, guests are invited to use this space for rest, reflection, and gentle restoration.

Used intentionally, the sauna can become its own small ritual—a place to pause, breathe deeply, release tension, and reconnect with yourself.
